Capricornia Energy Hub Final Terms of Reference Release

September 30, 2024

We are pleased to inform you that the Final Terms of Reference (ToR) for the Capricornia Energy Hub have been released by The Office of the Coordinator General on Friday 27 September 2024.

What does this mean?

This is a significant milestone in the development of the project, as the ToR outlines the detailed assessment requirements, environmental considerations, and regulatory frameworks that will guide the next phases of planning and approval.

For the project, this release represents a key step forward, allowing us to move into the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) phase with a clearer understanding of the expectations and areas of focus. This will ensure that we meet all necessary obligations while delivering sustainable and innovative energy solutions.

For you as a stakeholder, the Final ToR offers greater transparency regarding the project’s direction and highlights opportunities for continued engagement and input. We’ll be working closely with all stakeholders to address any concerns, gather feedback, and ensure that this project delivers long term benefits for the region.
